Chrystia Freeland, born in Peace River, Alberta in 1968, is a Canadian politician and journalist who has made a significant impact in both the media and political worlds. She has risen through the ranks to become Canada’s first female Deputy Prime Minister, as well as the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and the Minister of Finance.
